Message From Shout

Shout is the UK's first and only free, confidential, 24/7 text messaging support service for anyone who is struggling to cope.

They launched publicly in May 2019 and have had more than 1.5 million conversations with people who are anxious, stressed, depressed, suicidal or overwhelmed and who need in-the-moment support.

Shout is run by Mental Health Innovations – a charity using digital innovation, data-driven analysis and the experience of clinical experts to improve the mental health of the UK population.

Shout’s volunteers are at the heart of everything they do. They're often the first person their texters have ever spoken to about how they are feeling. Shout Volunteers work to take someone in distress to a calmer place. In return, they get 25 hours of free mental health communication training and ongoing coaching. Find out more about the service and how to volunteer at givesusashout.org.

Why recycle your clothes with Donate Clothes?

The climate crisis is engulfing the planet – and the fashion and textiles industry needs to take urgent action to drastically reduce carbon, water and waste from the textiles supply chain.

By donating your pre-loved clothes and textiles, you’re not just supporting a British charity of your choice, helping them raise funds without the need for setting up a shop or collection centre. You’re also propelling the textiles industry towards a circular economy.
